Direct from Israel: It’s a powerful,
unforgettable evening, featuring
music from a musician who
survived the unimaginable!
24-year old pianist Alon Ohel was abducted from
the Nova Music Festival and was released only this
past October. Surviving 738 days in Hamas captivity,
he endured long periods of isolation underground,
malnutrition, and injury. In the best-selling memoir,
Hostage, author and former hostage Eli Sharabi
devotes an entire chapter to this remarkable young
pianist.
Now, in this triumphant evening, Alon will share not
only his music, but his inspiring story of survival,
discussing how music is more than just artistic
expression. Joined by his brother Ronen on guitar,
Alon will demonstrate the incredible power of music
to heal.
Once silenced, he now plays with renewed purpose,
offering a quiet yet powerful reminder of resilience,
healing, and hope.
